To page 140 in F451

I can use my time to effectively work on necessary tasks during class time.   I can experiment with writing about setting.

Part I: WORK TIME
  1. Read toward 140 in F451 for tomorrow's discussion
  2. Complete this worksheet if you haven't already:
Part II (last 20 mins of class): SETTING
  1. Go to your "Dystopia Journal"
  2. Put today's date at the top (Nov 30 or Dec 1)
  3. Rewrite into you post:
    • The controversial topic and side I support is _________________.   As a result, I am going to write about a place where the opposite is happening, which includes: _________________________.
    • Example:  The controversial topic I selected was how we shouldn't be forced to give kids vaccinations.   As a result, I am going to write about a place where the opposite is happening, which includes: every kid gets a series of vaccinations, it rules their daily life and has serious health implications.
  4. Follow Ms. Peterson through her 5 short questions to start thinking about your setting.  The questions will be read outloud in class.
