Overview of English 10 Summer Reading:
1.) Read a book from one of the lists below. Write a Reader's Journal Entry for it. Instructions for the reader's journal are in a document attached below.
2.) Write a literacy autobiography. The instructions for it are covered in the English 10 Summer Work assignment sheet below.
Honors Students
In addition to the above work, you are expected to read the section of Stephen King's On Writing entitled "C.V." and write a Reader's Journal Entry for it. There is a .pdf of the book attached below, and a limited number of copies of the book can be signed out of FHS's main office for reading this summer. If you sign one out, please return it in a timely fashion so that others can use it.
